UPCOMING EVENTS:  

Basket Auction on May 1 and wrap up on May 8

We are planning our annual silent auction to raise money for Pilgrim Point Campers on May 1 and May 8.  We ask that each youth prepare 1 or 2 baskets or items to bid on.  You do not have to spend a lot of money to create them, it is what the youth are able to come up with. 

Some examples of services to offer:  a private instrument lesson, specific sport training, yoga, cooking or knitting class.  They will only cost you your time.  Setting a specific date or time frame with the service works best.  Items or baskets could be books, snacks, chocolates, car wash items, etc.  Creative packaging can sell!

Let's make it a successful auction to support our Pilgrim Point Campers.  Youth members who have attended, be sure to tell your stories of fun and friendship to the other youth.  Let them know why you find it a special place and why you want to spend a week there this summer.

If possible, we would like to have the auction items ready a few days before May 1st.  We will find a place at church to safely store them.  Youth can plan on arriving on May 1st by 8:45 to set up and run the auction.  Thank you and if you have any questions or suggestions please contact Kristi Karsten, murphkzk@msn.com or 281-5270.
