Faith Formation for Children and Youth
Our mission is for children to grow deeper in their faith through fellowship and community. In support of intergenerational connectedness, children and youth are present during the first 15 minutes of the worship service. After children's time in the front of the church, children and youth are invited to attend Sunday School. Children of all ages are invited to come forward and participate in Children’s Time. On special occasions children remain in the worship service and activity packets are available.

Sunday School Curriculum
Our Christian Education team works closely with our FFFE director to provide strong Biblical-based curriculum. Each classroom works to provide a fun and engaging environment to learn God’s truth in an applicable way. Teachers strive to help our students make their faith their own.
Children Pre-K to 6th grade are taught from the Spark Lectionary. Spark is designed to allow students to explore Bible stories and develop a deeper sense of faith as they take away new meanings. Youth in 7th to 12th grade are taught from Echo the Story. Interactive videos, creative workbooks and fun games help to retell the Bible from beginning to end.
For any further questions or comments, please contact our FFFE director at 507-289-4581 ext. 3.
At the Congregational Church, confirmation officially starts in 9th grade. We meet every Wednesday night from 7:00-8:00 pm. Each student receives a mentor to act as their spiritual guide through their journey.

Adult education invites us to engage with one another and grow together in to a clearer understanding of God’s will for our lives. We learn to speak our truths and engage in respectful conversation about the issues of our time. Come join us in this exciting journey!
There is no charge for our adult education programming and all are welcome to come to any session without registration or a commitment to attend all sessions. Sometimes we form a class list for the purpose of sending enrichment materials to participants. A number of opportunities are available.
Wednesday Night Adult Study
We have a vital adult group that meets 2nd and 4th Wednesday throughout the year.
Adult Book Group
We offer a book group that meets at church the 3rd Thursday of each month at 10 AM for discussion of selected books of general interest and for fellowship. The book list is available in the church office.
Thursday Morning Men’s Group
The Men’s Fellowship meets every second and fourth Thursday at 7:00 AM in the church Parlor. A light breakfast is available along with a time to share journeys, scripture readings, and prayer.
